| About Akshar Akshar's interest in the field of fitness arose at the age of 10. Akshar learnt Ashiyara, Shito Rio and Shoto Kan styles of Karate for 12 years from various Karate masters. He got trained in many powerful dynamic martial arts like Kick Boxing, Krav Maga of Israel, Muay Thai, Tai Chi and Capoeira. Simultaneously, his interest towards traditional Yoga systems, born out of an acute curiosity to attain the inner silence and harmony, took him to the banks of the Holy River Gangas in Haridwar to learn Hata Yoga consisting of very effective breathing exercises, asanas and deep meditation. Intending to spread this precious knowledge to a wider audience, Akshar decided to employ modern techniques which would allow everyone to practice Hatha Yoga while preserving its originality giving rise to Akshar Power Yoga. Later, Akshar spent several years in Katmandu & southern part of Sikhim to learn the Buddhist Mandala Meditation from the monasteries. Also, at that time, he got the opportunity to learn Drunken & Monkey style Martial Arts under the Chinese Monks. Sensei Akshar is the Founder of Akshar Power YogaTM and Monance mandala meditationTM. He is director of Xclusive Fitness StudioTM at Bangalore where he & his team of instructor teach Akshar Power Yoga, Mixed Martial Arts and Monance Mandala Meditation.
